We had a fantastic stay at La Casa Azul! The view from the balcony and patio overlooking the harbor was absolutely stunning. The lounge was comfortable and provided a great place to relax. The curtains on the beds, along with the electrical outlet, lamp, and shelves, were a nice touch and added convenience. We also appreciated the free bottled water and coffee/tea.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the cramped bunk and room space, and the lack of whole grain bread or cheese for breakfast, these did not significantly impact our overall experience.

Ascensor Espiritu Santo, a true museum attraction right at my doorstep. From the free breakfast on the terrace to exploring the Museo de Historia Natural, I had it all. And the free WiFi! Wow, so generous.
Oh, just a tiny annoyance - locating the hostel was like navigating a secret labyrinth. Surely adding to the adventure, right?

I recently stayed at La Casa Azul in Valparaiso for a week while traveling solo. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The balconies and patio offered breathtaking views of the harbor, and the comfy lounge was the perfect place to relax. I loved the thoughtful touches in the dorm rooms, like curtains on each bunk, individual lights for reading, and plenty of shelf space. The staff made me feel like part of their family, and I had no trouble making friends with other guests. The nightly live music on the porch was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The room had free WiFi, which was a huge plus for me as I needed to stay connected. The 24-hour front desk was really convenient, making it easy to check-in and get any help I needed. The suite had a shared bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, which was great for getting ready in the mornings. I loved having a kitchen in the single room. It made it easy for me to cook my own meals and save some money. The bathrooms had showers and complimentary toiletries, so I didn't have to worry about bringing my own. I really appreciated the shared kitchen. It was a nice place to socialize and prepare meals.
Personally, I didn't really enjoy having cable TV in the single room. I preferred exploring the city and interacting with other guests.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The shared living spaces were always filled with people chatting and it was a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. The location of the hostel was perfect, close to the city center, supermarkets, and popular tourist spots. the breakfast provided was a nice touch and helped start the day off right.
One thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the noise level during the late-night hours. The quiet hours did not start until 2am on weekends, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep.

The room I stayed in at La Casa Azul Hostel had a kitchen, which was really convenient for preparing my own meals as a budget traveler. I enjoyed cooking and saving money on eating out.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom in the suite to be a bit inconvenient. But hey, it might not bother everyone!

The atmosphere was jaw-droppingly amazing, like a home away from home, with a super friendly and helpful staff. The dorms were nice and safe, equipped with lockers and individual keys. The location offered a mind-blowing sunset view at the top of a long staircase. The volunteers were incredibly nice, and the shared living spaces were always buzzing with friendly conversations. The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and hot water, although a bit busy in high season. The wifi worked great, and the simple breakfast fueled our adventures. I felt cared for and part of a loving "family" during my stay. It was a truly memorable experience!

The hostel had a great vibe with a cozy atmosphere. The bunk beds were comfortable and each had curtains for extra privacy. The lounge and balcony areas offered fantastic views of the surroundings. I also appreciated the presence of power outlets and shelves by each bed, making it easy to charge devices and store personal items.
The challenging climb up the stairs, especially at night when it felt a bit unsafe. However, the staff warned us and there were alternative routes available.

I loved how I could convert one of the historical lifts of the city into my own private transportation! The free breakfast fueled my explorations and the garden was a perfect spot to relax. Plus, free WiFi and a computer in the dorm? Can't beat that!
As if free breakfast, free WiFi, and a garden weren't enough, they even offered me the lovely experience of dry cleaning/laundry services. Oh, wait.
